Integrated Art, Music and Drama
On the Pre-Prep (Grade R) and Prep Campus (Grade 1 and 2), Art and Drama is integrated into the school day and facilitated by the class teacher. Music is delivered by a specialist music teacher across all the above grades.
On the Primary Campus (Grade 3 to 7) Drama is integrated into the learning by class teachers. Art and Music are taught by specialist teachers in the designated facilities. Art includes basic drawing, 3D modelling as well as photography. Music is taught in a way which includes learning to play a range of instruments and make music.
Individual Music Tuition
We are proud to have a dedicated team of highly qualified music teachers working together to create a positive and supportive environment in which students can explore and enjoy music. Our Director of Culture is responsible for the management of this offering as well as class music. It of course also creates the opportunity for our school to be able to make and play music in a variety of ways.
Music enriches all our lives by promoting higher order thinking, skills and teamwork. Music also fosters creativity and cohesiveness while generating discipline and commitment.
